Despite my concerns, this was delicious! They even give vegetarian options on the back of the box which I think is great. I personally prefer food that I have cooked from scratch. You can see every ingredient that goes into it and you can customize the flavor to your own tastes. But, I am a realistic person and a pregnant lady. I don't have the energy to cook an amazing homemade meal every single day. This isn't the 1950's and it just doesn't work that way. So, if you're looking for something to stash away in your pantry for one of those days when you're exhausted or just plain of of time to cook a fabulous meal, I highly recommend you spend the tiny bit of extra cash on this product. I was literally $3 and only about $1 more than the Hamburger Helper brand. Lord only knows what kinds of preservatives and additives their products are loaded down with!! I went to Annie's online and placed a bulk order today as I can't always get back down to good ole Granbury when I'd like to. I also shopped around for other products in the same line that they might have that I didn't find at the store. Along with my purchase of the strogonaff I ordered a "chicken helper" product as well.
Finally, the last Annie's products I will highly recommend is their selection of Macaroni and Cheeses. My daughter asks for mac-n-cheese just about every day. I once threatened to never buy mac-n-cheese again and then decided that was a bit harsh. Instead I always buy organic mac-n-cheese from Annie's, because I know then I can make her happy and know she's feeding her little tummy good food as well.
Do yourself and your family a favor and try these products for yourself. You may find some of the products at your local grocery stores, but until then there is always Annie's Online.
*DISCLAIMER* I was not paid by Annie's to write this blog. I am a true fan and loyal customer who wishes to spread the word to those who may not know about these amazing products.
